Ethel & Ernest BBC Christmas Premiere

Animated feature Ethel & Ernest screened on BBC One over the Christmas break, and we’ve been absolutely blown away by the amazing public reaction to the film. So many of you tuned in to watch with your loved ones – four million of you, in fact! – and by the time the credits were rolling #EthelAndErnest was trending on Twitter, with thousands of glowing social media reviews and articles hailing it as a masterpiece, plus claims that the film made the nation sob, and calls for it to win Oscars – to say we’re chuffed is an understatement!

A huge thank you to all who watched the film and shared their thoughts, and another resounding congratulations to our talented team who helped bring Raymond Briggs’ vision to life – we’re so proud of everyone.
